It all started during the 2020 covid lockdown. I was home, pregnant with my first baby, bored, and I needed a creative outlet to stay sane without human interaction. I went down the deep, dark rabbit hole of lost hobbies: planner stickers, reading, devoting over 1200 hours into Animal Crossing.. and then I stumbled into the wonderful world of candle-making.. and I was hooked.

What began with candles, wax melts, and cozy home scents quickly turned into a full-blown obsession with fragrance itself—how it’s blended, how it lingers, and how it makes a space (or a person) feel. I loved creating scents for the home, but somewhere along the way, I realized my heart was being pulled in a more personal direction.

That’s when personal fragrance stole the show.

I fell in love with creating skin-close scents—fragrance meant to be worn, lived in, and carried with you throughout the day. Quiet, comforting blends that feel intentional rather than overwhelming. Scents that become part of your routine, your rituals, your moments just for you.

In 2023, with a lot of encouragement from my husband and family (and a gentle push to stop hoarding everything for myself), Wicks & Roses officially stepped out into the world. Sharing my creations has been equal parts exciting and surreal—and I’m endlessly grateful I took the leap.

Today, Wicks & Roses is rooted in small-batch craftsmanship, thoughtful formulation, and the belief that fragrance should feel personal, comforting, and quietly meaningful.
